Privacy Policy
Effective: May 9, 2026
Mixology Recording Studios LLC (“Mixology Studios Online,” “we,” “us”) operates mixologystudios.online. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how to exercise your rights over it.
1. Information we collect
You give us directly
- Email signup: first name + email address when you join our mailing list (popup, lead-magnet pages, footer, or checkout).
- Booking & payment: name, email, billing address, order details, and payment method captured by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store full card numbers — those are handled exclusively by Stripe.
- Customer messages: anything you send us via email, DM, or contact form.
Collected automatically
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 records anonymized page views, device info, country/region (not exact location), and referral source. IP addresses are anonymized at collection (
anonymize_ip: true). - Hosting logs: Vercel records request metadata (URL, timestamp, status code, abbreviated IP) for security and performance monitoring. Logs roll off automatically.
2. How we use it
- To deliver the services you booked or downloaded.
- To send the welcome sequence, follow-ups, and occasional updates about new content or offers (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email).
- To process payments, issue receipts, and resolve billing questions.
- To understand how the site is used (aggregate analytics only) so we can improve it.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, anti-fraud).
3. Third-party processors
We use the following sub-processors to run the business. Each one only sees the data it needs for the function listed.
- Stripe (US)— payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
- Kit, formerly ConvertKit (US) — email marketing platform. Subject to Kit's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 (US) — anonymized site analytics. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
- Vercel (US) — site hosting and edge networking. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy.
- Google Workspace (US) — email correspondence at
bp@mixologystudios.online.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
4. Cookies & tracking
The site uses a small number of cookies, all first-party or set by Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party trackers beyond GA4. You can disable analytics by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser, using a privacy extension, or sending us an opt-out request (see Section 6).
5. Retention
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Customer / order records: 7 years (US tax and accounting record retention).
- Analytics: aggregated and rolled up after 14 months.
6. Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we have about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data (subject to record-retention obligations on paid orders).
- Stop sending you marketing email.
To exercise any of these rights, email bp@mixologystudios.online with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We respond within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA (right to know, right to delete, right to opt out of any future sale of personal information — currently none). If you are an EU/UK/EEA resident, you have additional rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR. The same email address handles both.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: HTTPS-only transport, security headers, payment data isolated to Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1), no cleartext storage of credentials, and least-privilege access to all third-party tools. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users without undue delay if we discover a material breach.
8. Children
The site and services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers and a banner on this page for 30 days.
